My God is a loving and just God.
....My purpose in creating this blog is not so much to offer something for my readers as much as an exercise to help me grow. Hopefully along the way, it may also help someone else. If not, may it at least entertain.
About Me
- Maeflower
- Middle Tennessee, United States
- I was raised in a very close, Christian based middle-class family in a Southern city suburb. I have been married 34 years. I have 2 grown sons, a beautiful granddaughter, and 1 older sister. Our home right now is also home to 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 pet chickens! I love music, outdoors, pets, wildlife, and new adventures. I love all of nature and God's many creations and can't imagine a life without a love of God and family, wildlife and the outdoors.

Here we go....my first post!
Today would have been my mother's 100th birthday. As I contemplate my life, my thoughts, it cannot be done without looking back on how I have come to where I am today. The heritage of my family, the love we shared and the love shared by generations before is the starting point for the relationship and views I have of God and my place in His world. I have taken my views of who God is from my father and his relationship with God and his relationship with my mother and with family. I viewed him and his relationship with my mother as the closest thing to being like Christ a mortal human can be. While I was only 13 at the time of his death, those years together were all I needed to shape my view of my world - my parents' union with God and their union together as one.
